In 2018, for the fourth year in a row we brought an international Shakespeare troupe from Cambridge University to give performances and workshops at the Stratford High Schools. We are delighted to say in 2018 we received a $5000.00 grant from The Stratford Rotary to create a teaching artist residency. During the residency 5 actors resided in Stratford and developed a 70 minute production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” which they performed for the middle school students at St. James, Wooster and Flood in Stratford and for the 9th grade at West Haven High School. The teaching artists also did workshops with the students after the performances. https://www.ctpost.com/local/article/Making-Shakespeare-approachable-in-Stratford-13455268.php
